How To Order Vegan at Starbucks This Holiday Season! Find out which drinks can easily be made vegan and which to avoid.
I should start this off by saying I used to be a Starbucks addict! Like, stopping by at least a couple times per day. Recently I’ve cut back on coffee and mostly just drink tea… But I just couldn’t resist trying Starbuck’s holiday drinks, especially during their BOGO this weekend.
In case you haven’t heard the news if you buy a holiday drink at Starbucks from yesterday until Monday (Nov. 9-13, 2017) you can get a second holiday drink from 2-5pm local time!!
Since I’ve been out of the Starbucks game for quite a while and making my own homemade pumpkin spice lattes for fear that the barista will forget to give me soy milk, I was pretty hesitant ordering these festive drinks. There’s a bunch of info out there for how to order dairy-free but I needed to confirm in store as well.
I ended up getting the Gingerbread Latte and Chesnut Praline Latte and now I’m in dangerous territory – they were both delicious! Tasty enough to bring this former Starbucks addict back to the holy land. I know there are other holiday drinks, but there’s Skim Milk Powder in the syrup of all places! To order my new favorite festive drinks (plus their Holiday Spice Flat White) simply just skip the whipped cream and ask for soy, coconut, or almond milk.
The Gingerbread Latte AKA warm hug from a teddy bear was definitely my favorite and gave me all the holiday feels. My husband preferred the Chestnut Praline Latte because it had a stronger coffee and milder festive taste. Those two will both be in my rotation this season. I’m interested to try the Holiday Spice Flat White as well! Has anybody tried that dairy-free yet??
