How to Make Pour Over Coffee
A pour over brings out the true flavor of the coffee beans by using the optimal coffee brewing temperatures and just the right amount of water. The hot water slowly passes through the ground coffee and extracts the richest flavors and aromas.
The process typically involves weighting the grounds and water and calculating the perfect ratio. The Mr. Coffee® At-Home Pour Over takes out the guesswork of the pour over with an on screen step-by-step guide that walks you through the process.
It's really cool! An integrated auto-measure scale automatically calculates the right amount of coffee and water, and tells you just how much to add of each for a great tasting cup of coffee every time. Mr. Coffee® is easy to use, uncomplicated, creates reliable results!
It makes brewing specialty coffee at home effortless. Only Mr. Coffee® keeps it simple to make great coffee, so you can get on with your day.
Holiday Inspired Coffees
Fall and winter drinks are some of my favorites! From the classic pumpkin spice latte, to a peppermint mocha, gingerbread latte, and more, these festive lattes are like a hug in a mug.
We love brewing coffee all throughout the week in our house. We love brewing a cup to take with us on walks around the neighborhood or to enjoy on the weekends as we binge watch movies.
My parents love coffee too! Don't tell, but they will definitely have a Mr. Coffee® At-Home Pour Over under the tree this year. It's such a great gift for everybody!
Quick & Easy Vegan Gingerbread Latte Recipe
Making a warm and comforting gingerbread latte at home takes just minutes, and you don't even have to turn on your stovetop or plug in your blender.
Here's what you need:
- Coffee, of course!
- Molasses
- Maple syrup
- Vanilla extract
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Clove
- Almond milk
If you don't have almond milk, use your favorite non-dairy milk in place of it. If you really want to do it up, grab a can of almond or coconut whipped topping at the store and sprinkle some extra ground cinnamon on top!
How to Make a Homemade Gingerbread Latte
Start by brewing your coffee according to the Mr. Coffee® directions. You can easily brew 2, 4, or 6 cups of coffee but we only need 2 cups of fresh brewed coffee for 2 servings.
Add filtered water to the electric gooseneck kettle and heat water until the coffee maker beeps, letting you know the water is heated. Turn the scale on and fit a paper cone filter into the cone dripper. Select your serving size and add grounds. The on-screen guide will walk you through how much coffee grounds and water to add.
Once coffee is brewed, whisk it together with the molasses, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground clove. Microwave the almond milk until foamy then stir into mixture. Transfer to two mugs and enjoy!
