This refreshing iced peach green tea recipe is the perfect way to use up fresh juicy peaches on a hot summer day. It's fruity, flavorful, and naturally sweetened.

Why you'll love this recipe

  • Easy recipe: This homemade peach tea is simple to make with fresh peaches and green tea. It takes minimal time and effort, but tastes delicious.
  • No syrups needed: This peach infused green tea uses real fruit and is sweetened with natural flavors.
  • Perfect for peach season: We're using real peaches, y'all! Grab yourself a handful of fresh peaches at the grocery store or farmers market. Once you've baked your cobblers and crisps, this peach iced tea is a great way to use up those remaining peaches.

Ingredients

  • Fresh peach: To serve 4, you just need 1 ripe peach.
  • Green tea: Use tea bags or loose leaf tea.
  • Water: Preferably filtered.
  • Ice: For a perfectly chilled iced green tea.

How to make peach green tea

  1. Warm water: Heat the water to 180F then add green tea bags or loose leaf tea to an infuser along with the peach slices.
  2. Infuse: Let steep for 3 minutes then remove the green tea.
  3. Let chill: Transfer the peach tea to a large pitcher and store in the fridge.
  4. Serve: When ready to serve, add ice to tall glasses or mason jars, and enjoy!

Variations

  • For a sweeter drink: Sweeten with a small splash of simple syrup or maple syrup.
  • Starbucks version: To make a Starbucks peach green tea lemonade use jade citrus mint tea instead of green tea and mix with lemonade.
  • Black tea: If you prefer more of a caffeine boost, swap the green tea bags for black tea! Just remember to steep for less time so you don't end up with a bitter taste.
  • Add some curb appeal: To make this peach tea look super impressive, add some fresh mint leaves to the large pitcher or in each tall glass.
