These air fryer crescent rolls are the perfect accompaniment for breakfast, brunch, weeknight dinner, or any holiday gathering.

You'll be amazed at how simple baking crescent rolls in the air fryer is! Simply unroll the dough, separate along the perforations, roll each triangle up, form into a crescent shape, place in the air fryer, and enjoy.

Air frying canned crescent rolls keeps the inside soft and tender with a light and flaky outside.

I love cooking in my air fryer because it's quicker than using the oven and heating up the kitchen. Plus, the way the air circulates results in evenly cooked snacks, appetizers, and desserts!

Why you'll love this recipe

  • Not only are these air fried crescent rolls delicious, they're quick and easy to make.
  • They require minimal prep time, cook time, and clean up. That's a win-win-win!
  • The texture is crispy and flaky on the outside and warm and tender on the inside.
  • 1 can of refrigerated crescent rolls makes 8 rolls, so enough for 4 people to have 2 each. Of course, you can double or triple this recipe if serving a crowd!

Equipment

Buy Ninja Foodi Air Fryer

This air fryer is convenient and easy to use. It's large enough to cook in big batches, yet compact enough to fit on the countertop.

Ingredients

  • Refrigerated crescent roll dough: Any brand will work! If you're dairy free and egg free like me, you'll be happy to know that many brands including Pillsbury, Trader Joe's, and Annie's offer vegan crescent rolls. Be sure to check the labels!

How to make air fryer crescent rolls

I suggest spraying your air fryer basket with oil spray instead of laying down parchment paper, because you want maximum airflow under the crescent rolls to help them cook evenly.

Step 1: Unroll the crescent roll dough

On a plate or clean work surface, unroll the crescent roll dough and carefully separate along the perforations.

Step 2: Shape the crescents

Working from the wide side of each piece, roll up, and shape into a curved crescent.

Step 3: Air fry and enjoy

Place crescent rolls in air fryer basket, making sure to leave enough space for them to rise.

Air frying tip: Be mindful not to overcrowd the air fryer basket! Crescent rolls should be arranged in a single layer and not stacked.

Air fry crescent rolls at 300F for 9 minutes. Add a minute or two if the crescents aren't done. Crescent rolls are done when they are golden brown, crispy, and cooked through!

What to serve with crescent rolls

Crescent rolls are great on their own. I grew up eating them for breakfast with butter, peanut butter, jam, and jelly. They also go well as a side dish for dinner with hearty soups or stew.

How to store leftovers

If you have leftover crescent rolls, store in a sealed bag or airtight container for 5-7 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in the air fryer at 350F for about 3 minutes, or until warmed through.

To freeze, wrap tightly with foil or wrap, then place in a freezer bag. Store in the freezer for 1-2 months. Reheat frozen crescent rolls in the air fryer at 350F for about 5 minutes, or until warm and heated through.
