Now that it’s officially grilling season, it’s time to get outside and fire up your grill! One of my favorite parts about BBQ dinners are all the sides. This German Red Cabbage recipe pairs perfectly with grilled meats and veggies alike.

One of my favorite grilled meats is bratwursts. Instead of serving them alongside potatoes, try lightening the meal up with German red cabbage! The best part is that you don’t have to heat up your kitchen since you can use a dutch oven! If you don’t have a dutch oven, a large skillet will work well too.
