Chia seeds are high in protein and packed full of nutrition! They have a neutral flavor and can easily be added to many foods you already enjoy. Here's everything you need to know about these little seeds.

Chia seeds are native to Mexico and were a staple food of Mayan and Aztec cultures, who used them as an energy booster. They have a mild taste with a little crunch. Try adding whole or ground chia seeds to smoothie bowls, yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes! You can even add them on salads.

When soaked in liquid, chia seeds form a gel. They're great for thickening overnight oats or used as an egg replacer for baking.
