This easy chocolate peanut butter overnight oats recipe is the ultimate make-ahead breakfast for busy mornings. It's rich, creamy, and delicious!

Ingredients You'll Need

These chocolate peanut butter overnight oats come together with simple pantry staples. Rolled oats create the best texture, while dairy-free milk makes them creamy to your liking. Peanut butter adds richness, cocoa powder brings the chocolate flavor, and chia seeds help thicken everything into a pudding-like consistency. A drizzle of maple syrup adds sweetness, while vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt round it all out.

Mix, Chill, and Enjoy

Stir all the ingredients together in a bowl, let sit for 5 minutes, then stir again and cover. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight until thick and creamy. Before serving, give it a good stir and add a splash of dairy-free milk if needed. Store in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Powdered peanut butter: Swap regular peanut butter for 1-2 tablespoons powdered peanut butter like PB2. This gives you the same flavor with a lighter texture.

Banana chocolate peanut butter overnight oats: Mash ½ ripe banana into the oat mixture before chilling. It adds natural sweetness and makes the oats extra creamy. You can also top with sliced banana before serving.

No chia seeds: Skip the chia seeds if needed. The oats will be a bit looser, so reduce the milk slightly or let the mixture sit longer to thicken.

1 ½ cups dairy-free milk (almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, coconut oil, etc.)

1 cup old-fashioned oats

2 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
