Instead of cooking your quinoa with water, cook it in vegetable or chicken broth!
How to Cook Flavorful Quinoa
To make flavorful quinoa, cook in vegetable broth instead of water! Makes about 4 cups of fluffy quinoa.
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- ½ tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Pour quinoa into a strainer and rinse under cool water for at least 1 minute. Shake to rinse thoroughly.
- Place everything into your rice cooker, stir, and cook on white rice setting.
- Once cooked, fluff with a fork and enjoy as a base or salads and bowls or as a side dish.
