DIY Taco Salad Bar

Ready to take taco night to the next level with a quick and easy taco night charcuterie board? Let's take it step by step!

Step 1: Determine Your Toppings

Figure out what the main ingredients will be and if you have any fun additions!

Step 2: Prep Everything

Once you decide on toppings, wash and prepare all of the ingredients.

Step 3: Bring Out Your Board and Bowls

Choose your board and grab a few small to medium sized bowls.

I suggest pouring two different types of salsa into separate bowls. I also recommend placing chopped vegetables into tiny bowls.

Remember, you can replenish popular toppings, if needed!

Assembling an Epic Board

Now for the fun part! Make this taco board your own as you piece it together. Don't worry about being perfect at first, just dive in!

  1. Start by placing larger items on the board first. Such as salsa bowls on each end and lettuce running down the middle.
  2. Arrange remaining toppings on the board, filling in the extra space. Play around with placement!
  3. Use fresh herbs or additional ingredients to garnish and really bring your board to life.
  4. Once your board is assembled, serve, and let the party begin!

Taco Salad Dinner Board Recipe FAQ

No board? No problem! Simply use a clean cutting board or baking sheet.

What other dips or sauces can I serve on the board? Mixing and matching ingredients is what makes this spread so easily adaptable. My guacamole or vegan street corn dip recipes would be a great addition! My creamy avocado crema pairs perfectly with salsa too.

Can I prep this taco salad board ahead of time? To make-ahead, wash and prepare the ingredients that need to be chopped. Place each chopped veggie in a separate bowl and store covered in the refrigerator.

What other boards should I try? Snack boards and party platters are here to stay! Create a taco night grazing board complete with your protein of choice, rice, beans, dips, and chips. Be sure to check out the other products LA VICTORIA® brand offers!

I hope you enjoy my diy taco salad board! It's perfect for barbecues at home, the 4th of July, or any summer celebration! If you give it a try, please share a photo with me over on Instagram.
