Allergy-friendly food at Disney World. Traveling to Walt Disney World with food restrictions can cause stress and uncertainty. Here's the ultimate guide to allergy-friendly dining at Disney!

The Ultimate Allergy Friendly Food Guide at Disney World

If you're planning an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, I'm sure you've thought of dining and food options. I know the thought has crossed your mind if you have food allergies or sensitivities. No need to stress, Disney has us covered!

Traveling with food restrictions can cause stress and uncertainty, but The Mouse knows what he's doing. Regardless of your food allergies, sensitivities, or preferences, Disney World has special allergy-friendly menus and knowledgeable cast members.

I was genuinely surprised at the number of food options they have for those who can't have gluten, nut, soy, dairy, and egg.

First things first, make sure you always tell the cast member if you have an allergy or allergies and ask to see the allergy-friendly menu. They will either hand you a standard looking menu or show you a binder with all the ingredients in each meal.

Often times a manager or chef will come out and walk you through your options or use their creativity to bring magic to your plate.

After sharing the allergy-friendly menus throughout Disney World, I'm now sharing the best allergy-friendly food at WDW!

In no order, here are my most recommended meals, snacks, and treats.

Satu'li Canteen Pandora Build Your Bowl Animal Kingdom.jpeg

Build-Your-Own-Bowl at Satu'li Canteen

I was thrilled when we found this spot in Pandora at Animal Kingdom! We actually ate here on three different days.

I always ordered the chili spiced crispy tofu but I changed up my base and dressing.

My favorite order was the tofu bowl with red and sweet potato hash with charred green onion vinaigrette.

I even made a satu'li canteen bowl copycat recipe you can recreate at home!

Blaze Pizza at Disney Springs.JPG

Blaze Pizza at Disney Springs

After a long day of walking and baking in the sun, what's more satisfying than a giant personal pizza?

Surprise, we ate here twice during our stay! You can completely customize your pizza however you'd like.

And yes, they have vegan cheese! I totally loaded up on the allergy-friendly cheese and toppings!

Allergy Menu Cosmic Rays Magic Kingdom Disney World Orlando

Chicken Nuggets at Cosmic Rays

These nuggets are life-changing. No, really!! When we visited Magic Kingdom last year, I was blown away with how tasty they managed to make dairy free and egg free chicken tenders and strips.

The service at Cosmic Rays was incredible, as well!

Tonga Toast Walt Disney World.jpeg

Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe in Disney's Polynesian Resort

Wow, this was an unexpected meal but man am I glad I tried it!

Leading up to this trip, all I wanted were Mickey Waffles but when we got to breakfast and I looked over the allergy-friendly menu, I couldn't not order banana stuffed french toast... Could you!?

Disney Epcot Food.JPG

Kefta Sandwich at Tangierine Cafe

We love Moroccan and Mediterranean food so it's no surprise that we loved our lunch platter in the Morocco pavilion of Epcot.

After talking with the chef and manager, I decided to get the kefta sandwich rather than the falafels. The flavor was so spectacular and authentic!

Mickey Pretzel Disney.jpeg

Honorable mentions

Tacos from Pecos Bill's at Magic Kingdom

Filling and tasty, plus you can't beat an unlimited toppings bar!

Dole Whip

This fan favorite is offered throughout the parks! Nothing says you're on vacation at Disney quite like a Dole Whip. They're dairy free and gluten free.

Mickey Pretzels

Also offered throughout the parks. These soft pretzels are salty, tasty, pillowy, and surprisingly filling for a snack.

Here's where to eat gluten free at Disney Springs restaurants!

So helpful! We recently stayed at Disneyland for 8 days and they were very accommodating and there were many options! I can't say enough good things about the club level at the Grand Californian. Everything was labeled for allergies and they offered to make special things as requested.
