My Thoughts On Invitation Suites

Choosing your wedding invitations is just as important as choosing the bridesmaids dresses or centerpieces, in my opinion. The stationery helps set the tone and theme of your wedding. Your invitation can hint at color schemes or how formal the ceremony and reception will be.

As we were going through endless invitation suites, we came to the conclusion we like the more simplistic yet elegant invitations more than the vibrant ones. The invitation suite we ended up choosing was from Wedding Paper Divas, an online shop "specializing in fresh and modern wedding stationery."

I was very weary at first, as I had always planned on going to a design studio and planning each and every detail out with a designer. WPD became the obvious choice when we were able to order free samples and test different paper qualities and colors. The design we fell in love is called Elegant Love Affair.

I am so glad we gave WPD a chance because our suite complimented the classic and romantic feel we were channeling. My advice to any bride-to-be or groom-to-be out there is going into each planning moment with an open mind. Even if you love something one day, you may love something more the next - and that's okay!

Also, don't feel pressured to buy an entire suite. Ordering online made this easier because we chose the exact quantities of each paper good. We did not need reception cards, accommodation cards, or direction cards.

This is mostly because we held the ceremony and reception at the same venue, and we included our wedding website at the bottom of the invitation.

As you find wedding invitation inspiration and begin deciding what you two like and don't like, remember what tone you want to set and stay true to yourself and your relationship. Happy planning!
