Honest Review of Splendid Spoon
My experience with Splendid Spoon has been very positive! The meals taste fresh, are flavorful, and surprisingly filling. I love the substantial portions, and the seasoning is spot on, especially in the soups and dishes.
Splendid Spoon Smoothies
I was most excited to try the smoothies, especially since pulling out my blender every time felt like a chore. I really enjoyed the smoothies, but my husband absolutely loved them as a convenient grab-and-go option! They're not overly sweet and have a thick, creamy consistency.
Splendid Spoon Shots
I loved every Splendid Spoon shot! The digestion and wellness shots were so good they inspired me to dust off my juicer and try making my own. They're spicy and bold, just as you'd expect!
Splendid Spoon Dishes
All of the Splendid Spoon dishes I tried were delicious and perfectly seasoned. I stored them in the freezer and reheated in the microwave. It's tough to pick a favorite, but I loved the Kimchi Fried Quinoa, Wild Rice & Veggie Ragout, and Coconut Curry Rice.
Splendid Spoon Soups
I was most surprised by how much I loved the frozen soups! The butternut turmeric soup, lentil & kale soup, garden minestrone soup, and tomato quinoa chili soup are my favorites.
Is it worth it?
I think Splendid Spoon is worth it if you're in a busy season of life, want wholesome vegan meals, or are looking for a reset.
- Pros: The biggest advantages are the convenience, with zero prep work or cleanup required. (Plus, the meals actually taste good!)
- Cons: The main downsides are the cost, including meal prices and shipping fees, which can be higher than cooking from scratch. (But that's common with meal delivery services.)
- Note: Depending on how many meals you order, you'll need plenty of refrigerator or freezer space. (Just something to keep in mind!)
