My easy homemade hummus recipe comes together with chickpeas (also known as garbanzo beans), olive oil, tahini, and lemon juice.
– 2 (15-ounce) cans chickpeas – ½ cup tahini – ¼ cup olive oil – 1 lemon juiced – 2 garlic cloves – 1 teaspoon cumin – 1 teaspoon paprika – Salt to taste
Drain and rinse the chickpeas in a strainer under cool water. Add to food processor blender.
Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed. Experiment with spices to create your own unique hummus recipe!
To serve, sprinkle with a little extra paprika and drizzle of olive oil.
