This easy leftover brisket taco recipe combines leftover smoked brisket with your favorite toppings wrapped in a warm tortilla. It’s a great way to use up every last bit of that juicy, tender brisket.
Reheat the leftover brisket in the oven with a few tablespoons of leftover juices or broth at 325F for about 20 minutes, or until warmed through.
As the brisket reheats, prepare the toppings and warm the tortillas. I warm tortillas using a cast iron comal over medium-high heat or oven an open flame. This can also be done in the microwave or oven.
Once everything is prepped and warm, add brisket and toppings to warm tortillas and serve immediately.
Notes
If you don’t want to reheat brisket in the oven, warm it in a small saucepan on the stovetop over low-medium heat. I do not recommend reheating the meat in the microwave.
