Make leftover brisket sandwiches with smoked beef brisket, bbq sauce, and your favorite toppings piled high on toasted bread. It’s the ultimate juicy and savory sandwich.
Optional toppings: Sliced pickles, chopped red onion, coleslaw
Instructions
Chop or slice leftover smoked brisket. Reheat in the oven with a few tablespoons of leftover juices or extra bbq sauce at 325F for about 20 minutes, or until heated through. You can also warm brisket in a saucepan on the stovetop, but I do not recommend reheating in the microwave.
Toast the bread (or buns) in the toaster, on a skillet, or in the oven. Spread butter over each slice then set aside.
Assemble the sandwiches by layering pickle slices, brisket, red onion, and any other toppings. Drizzle with bbq sauce and serve.
