  • Butter: Grab your favorite dairy free butter sticks. You'll be slicing them into pats of butter to top the cake with before baking. If you're not dairy free or vegan, use your favorite regular sticks of butter. No butter? No problem! Substitute with dollops solid coconut oil.

I have made versions of this over the years, but this one is perfect since I can’t eat dairy. It sounds so easy and uncomplicated, and delicious, and you could really use any pie filling, and it would still be amazing. My family loves desserts and I love quick and easy. This is a win-win. Thanks for posting. It will be really nice for Valentine’s Day.
