Back in October, I was invited to attend Marie's Market Reserve Seriously Delicious Event in Fort Worth, TX! 15 food and nutrition bloggers from all over came together to learn more about the company and get a sneak peek at what's coming up.
I'm sure most of y'all have seen Marie's popular chunky blue cheese and vinaigrettes in the refrigerated produce section at your grocery store. Their packaging is pretty iconic and easy to spot!
Over the past few months, they've been rolling out their new Marie's Market Reserve line. There are 5 delicious dressings that are all 60 calories or less per serving. What makes me most excited are the 3 unique dairy-free flavors!
Marie's Market Reserve Lineup
- Caramelized Onion & Sesame Seed
- Meyer Lemon Basil
- Wildflower Honey & Lime Vinaigrette
- Southwest Style Ranch (not dairy-free)
- Smoked Black Pepper Caesar (also not dairy-free)
Seriously Delicious Event
The two-day Marie's Market Reserve Seriously Delicious Event kicked off by meeting the other bloggers in the lobby of a hotel before heading to dinner at Clay Pigeon.
It's always so much fun being around other food bloggers and chatting about how they got started and what they focus on.
In addition to getting to know the other bloggers, I was able to meet the Marie's team! I loved getting to know more about their jobs and what a typical day might look like for them.
Thankfully, Clay Pigeon was able to accommodate my food allergies and intolerances. Everything I ate was delicious!
Our first course was a mixed greens salad that we were able to try the different dressings out on.
I followed that with a great pasta dish and vegan deconstructed apple tart.
Marie's Culinary Innovation Center
The following morning, we made our way over to the innovation center to kick off day two!
After breakfast, we got a tour of the facility and learned all about Marie's. Different members of the team presented on the company's history, consumer insights, trends, latest science on fats, how their chefs crafted the new flavors for 60 calories or less and then scaled it, and so much more!
Before breaking for lunch, we got to explore the sensory labs and learn why certain flavors get paired with each other. SO COOL!
Also, can we talk about grazing table goals by Meyer & Sage.
The Best Dressed Culinary Challenge
Our day wrapped up with a Chopped-style challenge! We were judged on both flavor and presentation. My teammate and I served up a plant-based blended mushroom pecan pâté served on romaine lettuce. It was a hit and I loved tasting the other teams tasty creations too.
If you haven't seen the new Marie's Market Reserve at your grocery store yet, keep your eyes peeled. They should be hitting shelves soon. I've found it while on vacation in California and sometimes get lucky at my local Walmart.
Here's their store locator. Have you tried the new dressings? Which is your favorite?
Thanks again to the entire team at Marie's for hosting this unforgettable event!
