Do you KAABOO? KAABOO Texas 2019 was a three-day festival that took place inside and outside of the AT&T Stadium.
KAABOO Texas 2019 was a three day festival full of live music, comedy performances, culinary experiences, and more!
Going into the weekend, I had an idea of who I wanted to see and what I wanted to eat… and drink! Check out my 5 Things to Eat & Drink at KAABOO Texas 2019, if you’re curious.
I’ve been to a few festivals and the thing I enjoyed most about KAABOO Texas was their priority of clean and comfortable amenities! I never once waited for a bathroom stall and they had plenty of seating inside and outside.
We didn’t spend too much time looking at all the artwork but it was placed throughout the walkways for everyone to enjoy. There were also big beautiful murals outside that were the perfect backdrop for a photo.
PALATE at KAABOO
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try any vegan or allergy-friendly food at KAABOO. Where I was able to find plant-based options, they were sold out. When we ordered a vegetarian dish, it came out incorrectly and took longer to reconcile than it should have. This could have been avoided with better food handling training and additional reference material behind the counter, similar to how large restaurants and theme parks operate.
I did appreciate the menu labeling for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options but the staff was not trained properly to know what ingredients were in their dishes.
On the plus side, the drinks were strong and plentiful! Over the few days, I had a rum and coke with Cruzan Rum, wine, and my first frosé from 14 Hands. The frozen rosé took the cake and is now officially my drink of choice for summer 2019.
In addition to the music, food, and drinks, KAABOO had a separate tent for comedy shows. Among the lineup was Heather McDonald from Juicy Scoop and last-minute addition Bob Saget.
My favorite music performances were from Cash Cash, The Killers, Andy Grammer, and Pitbull.
Cash Cash played Friday and kicked off my KAABOO experience! I’ve seen The Killers before but they always put on a great show.
Ever since we saw Andy Grammer perform, I’ve been telling everyone around me how awesome he is! I can’t get his songs out of my head but more importantly, he just came across so positive. Listening to his music puts me in a good mood instantly.
Last but certainly not least, Pitbull!! I’ve been dying to see him for years and he did not disappoint. He performed all his hits, and the crowd was so energetic!
The performances were top notch, I appreciated the cleanliness, and tasty drinks. KAABOO was unlike any other festival I’ve ever attended and I think for their Texas debut, it was a great event!
On their website, they already have a notice that “2020 Lineup coming soon!” Would you go? Who would you most want to see?
I was provided with two complimentary tickets to facilitate this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own! All photos by Alive Coverage.
