Easy Black Bean Dip

If you’ve ever gone home after indulging in awesome restaurant style black bean dip only wanting to recreate it yourself, do it! I am here to tell you it is SO simple and you’ll be dipping your chips or veggies in within minutes. Seriously!

For some reason, I always thought making black bean dip would take a lot of time and patience. Thanks to my food processor (or blender) it takes just minutes to form a delicious dip.


This super simple black bean dip is awesome to dip chips and veggies into, but it’s also great served topped on your favorite tacos. Try my chickpea and guacamole tacos or check out my guide to Taco Tuesday!

Easy Black Bean Dip

2 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 onion, roughly chopped
1/2 jalapeno, roughly chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
Juice from 1/2 lime
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin


1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor. Mix until smooth.

2. To serve, transfer black bean dip into a bowl.
