Quinoa is a great base to many meals – for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! But do you know the secret to the best + most flavorful quinoa?
Instead of cooking your quinoa with water, cook it in vegetable or chicken broth!
1 cup quinoa
2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1. Pour quinoa into a strainer and rinse under cool water for at least 1 minute. Shake to rinse thoroughly.
2. Place everything into your rice cooker and stir.
3. Cook then fluff with a fork once done. (I use the white rice setting on my rice cooker, cooks in 35 minutes!)
Now you have a great base or side to any dish!
