AeroGarden Update: Week 3

As I mentioned in last week’s post, our basils are growing like crazy!! So much that we decided to make homemade pizza this weekend and top them with basil. We also have plans to make a rice or noodle bowl with the Thai basil next week. Read more to learn more about the growth during Week 3!

This update will be short and sweet because not too much happened during week 3 of our indoor gardening adventure. The dill and mint are growing and filling our garden up nicely. Sadly, the thyme and curly parsley haven’t sprout through the top of their pods quite yet. My sister also has an AeroGarden and she said her thyme is already sprouting and almost to the point where she has to take the dome off. Jealous!! Hopefully next week I can update that those two are up and growing. We also might start pruning this coming week. Make sure you follow on Instagram for any mid-week updates!

The fresh basil on top of our pizza was spectacular! I can’t wait for us to have more basil so I can make a dairy-free pesto.

  1. I came across your page when I search Areogarden on Pinterest. I got one for Christmas also. It is just the 3 pod holder. Basil & dill doing great. My curly parsley just made an appearance today. I have subscribed to your blog. I can’t wait to see your progress & how you use the fresh herbs.
